The word Rajasthan means, "Land of the Kings" and a tour of Rajasthan lives up to its name, it has magnificent forts, beautiful palaces and serene lakes. The better part of Western Rajasthan is covered by the Thar Desert and it is here that the city of Jaisalmer is located. Jaisalmer has a beautiful medieval fort on top of a hill. Jodhpur has an imposing fort a top a hill, just above the city with a beautiful palace inside it. Udaipur is the city of beautiful palaces and serene lakes and Jaipur, which is the capital of the city, is the beautiful Pink City of Rajasthan. Mumbai is the financial capital of India and hence is more modern and western than the other cities in India. Mumbai has its share of historical monuments that one must not overlook while enjoying the enticing moderness of the city.

Day 01 Arrival at New Delhi
Welcome and transfer follow arrival at airport to hotel. In the evening you will be taken to witness the sound and light show at Red Fort.

Day 02 New Delhi
Daylong sight seeing tour of Old Delhi (Shahajahanabad) and Lutyen's Delhi (New Delhi). You have the evening free to shop around Connaught Place.

Day 03 Jaipur
Drive to Jaipur with lunch at Neemrana Fort Palace on the way. In the evening you can walk through the Pink City and shop in its colorful bazaars.

Day 04 Jaipur
Spend the whole day sight seeing at the City Palace Complex and Amber Fort. Visit a local farmhouse for authentic Rajasthani dinner.

Day 05 Jaisalmer
Reach Jaisalmer by plane. Travel on camels to desert camp in a village just outside Jaisalmer, to spend the day in the desert. Spend the night in the desert camp.

Day 06 Jaisalmer
Move to Jaiselmer city and check into the hotel. Daylong tour of the various attractions in the town, including a walk in the fort and the lanes of the town below.

Day 07 Jodhpur
Drive through the desert with a brief halt at Kheechan (a haven for migratory Demoiselle Cranes) and at Osian village (an ancient trading town famous for its superbly carved temples). At Jodhpur visit the old markets around the Clock Tower.

Day 08 Jodhpur
Half-day jeep safari to Bishnoi villages to view the efforts made by the Bishnoi community towards environment conservation. Return to Jodhpur and visit Mehrangarh fort and Jaswant Thada. You can choose to have dinner at the Umaid Bhawan Palace.

Day 09 Udaipur
On the way to Udaipur make a brief halt to visit the Ranakpur temples. At Udaipur take a boat trip on Lake Pichhola at sunset. You have the option to have dinner at Shiv Niwas Palace.

Day 10 Udaipur
The day is spent sightseeing at City Palace, Saheliyon Ki Bari, Eklingji and Nagda. In the evening watch a cultural programme at the Bharatiya Lok Kala Mandal.

Day 11 Mumbai
Reach Mumbai by flight. Spend the day sight seeing and shopping in Mumbai.

Day 12 Departure
Transfer to the airport according to the time of departure for onward journey.
