Sandstone is a sedimentary rock that is coarsely grained which is formed by a process called consolidation and compaction of sand that are held together by silica which is natural cement. Sand stones are tough and hard by nature. Sandstones are composed of materials like alumina, silica, soda, potash, manganese, lime, etc These materials looks reddish-brown in color and at times are white, pink, beige, buff, gray or yellow, etc in color and are originally classic materials that are found under the desert areas, seabed and riverbeds.
